Two types of lots are available for purchase:
- Homestead Lots are generally less than three acres in size.
- Camp Lots are typically three or more acres in size. Some Camp Lots are considerably larger.
Homestead and Camp Lots at Sunalei Preserve are quite diverse due to the natural variations in terrain and vegetation. Some parcels offer gently rolling pasture areas while other parcels are steeper and covered in native hardwoods. The views from Sunalei Preserve are majestic, panoramic, and undisturbed.
Development of Sunalei Preserve is progressing at a pace consistent with the overall philosophy of the project that strives to assure the least disturbance to the sensitive ecosystems and wildlife habitats. Every rock that is moved, every shovel of dirt that is relocated is done in strict adherence with the regulations and codes of the Watauga County Planning Board, State and Federal land and water development requirements (including the Army Corps of Engineers), and guidelines set forth by the High Country Conservancy.
